The fall brought us a very sweet little girl named Mazie Kate. She came 4 weeks early on October 5th.
Zach LOVES her a ton!
We also just completed Halloween. Here are our elephant and peanut.
Finally our group picture from our “Black Dog Weekend,” which was only 7 hours long due to a 3 month old and a 3 week old this year.

In late May we joined Uncle Greg and Aunt Sarah at the beach. Zachary loved the sand and thought the waves were funny!
Yes we wore him out!

Quick highlights from March to May.
• Zachary enjoyed (for about 10 minutes) hunting for Easter eggs, opening them, and eating the snacks I put inside. It was fun to watch him!
• Zach’s First haircut
• Mother’s Day was very restful!
• Yes he loves the swing.
• Zachary and Michelle flew to Burbank, California to take pictures at Michelle’s cousin’s wedding. The entire family loved on Zachary! Here is Zachary with Michelle’s Papa!

We went to Tampa as a family at the end of February.
Randy worked on Friday while Michelle and Zach met up with Heather, Paul, and Ellie.
It was fun to hang with them in Florida, even though they live 10 minutes from us in Richmond.
I am writing now…Zach:
We went and saw manatees and played on the playground. Ellie was so exhausted that she did not get to play with me on the playground.
Saturday and Sunday we spent at Busch Gardens- Africa in Tampa.
Dad and I watching the elephants.
Dad and I got to ride some rides.
Look at us everybody:
Mom and I even got to ride the carousel:
I met a new friend:
On the last night I fell asleep with my new toys, the water bottles!

Yes, I, Zachary, am back.
I had a very fun birthday. It was low key
Dad got me a chocolate cake from Ukrop’s. Mom said I had to have a Ukrop’s cake for my 1st birthday.
I didn’t know what to do with it at first. Mom showed me how to eat the icing and then…I love it.
Grandma and Grandpa Lee, Unlce Jeremy and Aunt Kim, my neighbors, the Webb’s (Bucky, Teresa, Brody and Braeden), The Belton’s (Matt, Charity, Audrey, and Elliot) and my mom and Dad’s small group came and celebrated with me.

I, Zach , am finally taking over for a while. Mom is too consumed in other things. A lot has happened since the sledding pictures (with no snow.)
I went back to the construction site and took more pictures of me and the CAT machines.
Boy have I changed in 5 months.
I went to Danville to see my Aunt Jan, Josie, Grammie and Grandpa Frank.
Here we are taking a bath

Snow and Ice.
Well we are either desperate, pathetic or creative!
Zach was home “sick” again today, which meant so was Mommy. We are trying to get healthy. This week it is a very goopy eye.
It snowed, hailed, rained, and sleeted all day today. I love going out to have fun! Zach is a great reason to go have fun, especially after being inside for days. He had a blast for the 10 minutes we were sledding. Check out how much snow/ice we really got! Ha ha.
The link below shows a very short (4 sec.) clip of sledding.
Zach sledding!

We found snow!! The Children’s Museum made snow outside for the kids to play in over the weekend. Zach went on Friday afternoon. I will let you see his impressions of snow for yourself….
This stuff is freezing on my hands.
Enough is enough! I can’t believe I am sitting in a kayak in the snow. Does my mom really think this is a fun sled?
Needless to say Zach did not like the snow. But at least we tried.
